Live in the studio at 5pm – Max Farrell’s co-opt radio: world frequency.

This improvised performance blends sampling, manipulation, and layering of live radio to create evolving sonic landscapes. Using no pre-recorded or synthesized sounds, Max will explore acts of documentation and collective listening, starting with local Glasgow radio and gradually expanding to global internet radio sources. A unique performance that moves through noise, music, and textures, each piece re-contextualizes our relationship to place, memory, and sound culture.
