Raw & Baked

This morning at 10:30am – An electroacoustic composition with a focus on the disembodied radio voice by Den Haag based sound artist Margherita Brillada.

Inspired by daily actions in reverse order, the piece uses field recordings from Delft in spring 2024, blending raw and processed sound with found samples. Sharp cuts and softly processed sounds create a dynamic texture, with a tribute to Italian actress Monica Vitti. Premiered on Czech Radio’s ARS ACUSTICA on May 29, 2024.
