Eventless Plot – Unlearning Noise (Part I & II)
Tuesday, 15 September⋅7:00 – 7:30pm
At 7pm – Thessaloniki based group, Eventless Plot present ‘Unlearning Noise’ – an electro-acoustic composition based on field recordings and spoken words.
Cities are rich with soundscapes—some strikingly prominent, others subtle and elusive. Every street, alley, neighbourhood, park, and harbour carries its own evolving sonic identity, making each moment distinct and unrepeatable. This work draws from field recordings, blending discrete and processed sounds with other audio sources to reimagine specific locations and experiences as imaginative auditory worlds. ‘Unlearning Noise’ invites listeners to reinterpret the concept of noise within urban environments, encouraging them to uncover its hidden meanings and untapped possibilities.
