In the radio piece ‘Areal’, Nika Son and Pose Dia explore the shopping mall as a heterotopia in which consumption, leisure, and illusion intertwine. Beneath the shiny surface of this seemingly self-contained system, acoustic fractures emerge, revealing hidden non-places and transforming the labyrinth of consumption into an unsettling, surreal sonic play.
